Corridor Ravine involves significant scrambling and route-finding on the Twelve Apostles. The ravine is rocky and exposed. Navigation off-route leads to dangerous cliff terrain.
Know before you go
- Accessed via the Pipe Track — climb steeply through the Twelve Apostles buttresses to the ridge.
- Often combined with Tranquillity Cracks for a full day above Camps Bay.
- Best with a guide for first-timers — route-finding is demanding in the ravine.
If you need help
Popular route with experienced hikers but the ravine has loose rock sections. Often combined with the Twelve Apostles spine path and Kasteelspoort descent — a long, demanding day.
Emergency exit
From the Apostles spine, descend via Kasteelspoort to Theresa Avenue. Do not attempt to descend directly back through the ravine in fog.
Cell reception
Good on Pipe Track. Drops in the ravine and on the Twelve Apostles.
Start point
Pipe Track, off Kloof Nek Road — Theresa Avenue, Camps Bay side
